Self-Protection Training was provided to under 18 years old children in Ban Mai Nai Soi Temporary Shelter in Mae Hong Son Province’s Mueang District on August 28, 2021. There were 8 girls and 34 boys participating. The aims were to improve the children knowledge of daily living, self-esteem, self-defense against sexual harassment, exploitation and human trafficking, children’s right to protection.

   The children learned how to report to the responsible persons if facing with any harassment, and most of all to live their normal life with safety measure of wearing proper clothes and avoid entering unknown and dark places, etc.

   Feedback from the participants was that the contents were so useful that they would like COERR to organize such training to their friends and neighbors in the community to learn about self- protection for their own safety.
